Tari started her adventure in the beauty industry as a receptionist while she earned a degree in education from Eastern Michigan University.

After graduating, she never went on to teach when an opportunity to help a growing salon through its expansion presented itself. Tari held the position of General Manager of a team of 100 people in a 12,000 square foot facility for one of Michigan’s premier Day Spas and Salon for 15 years. During that time, she also earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management so she could extend her knowledge in the leadership of people.

In 2015, Tari left the industry to pursue an opportunity in corporate America as a Talent Acquisition leader. She couldn’t stay away from the beauty industry long and in 2017 opened Tacari Salon in downtown Plymouth with her business partner and sister Carie. Tari strongly believes that beauty professionals and owners need to support each other and come together to help elevate this great industry.
